Carmax sold me a Ford Explorer 1997 and they claim that they do a 125 point inspection of all vehicles before purchasing them for sale on their lot. This inspection is supposed to be whether the vehicle was involved in an accident and see if there are damages context. Fortunately I have not had any problems with the frame, but the electrical system is fried. When I changed insurance a few months ago my agent told me my vehicle has been in two accidents and said the pay outs of the insurance companies were over $ 200,000.00 each.One would think a car dealer knows these things and would need to tell the consumer.
