has anyone used the graston technique treatment for achillies tendonitis and had success with it?

I plan to use the technique graston to treat my chronic tendinitis Achilles. Does it work?
I just had surgery Friday for this condition. By all means talk to a podiatrist and do everything you can to avoid surgery but I'm glad I had mine repaired. It is very painful. I am not allowed to walk on foot every 3 months and am supposed to wear a special boot for 3 months. The key is to follow all doctors' orders to the letter. If they say stay out of it so stay away. Lots of ice and physical therapy has been very helpful. If you can not stay out of it then your doctor put in a cast so that you can not walk on it. I'm serious about staying out of it.It is a disabling injury and I'm having a disability for the rest of my life because of it.

Never heard of it ...
I know that staying out of it can help a lot .... but you must be careful with the massage, injections and so on because it is so easy to break ...
so im not sure about this technique, but good luck .. I had an inflammation of the Achilles tendon in both front ankles and man it was sooooo painful so I feel for you!
