Paralympic swimmers celebrate life
I recently returned from San Antonio, Texas, where I attended the USA National Swimming Paralympic sit as a member of "Team Amanda Walton." Amanda performance was extraordinary and the three gold medals she has obtained evidence of his dedication through countless hours of training with coach Karen Morrison in the pool of Ketchum Zenergy. The Mountain Express has already written about the meeting results, I want to express what I learned athletes.
Paralympic swimmers These include all conceivable physical disabilities: blind, legless, armless, the small, cerebral palsy, severe scoliosis, spinal cord and many combinations thereof. Whatever the disability, these athletes have a unique camaraderie and incredible technical stroke and smiles.
Maybe I've been busy for honesty. Dressed only in the briefest of Speedo racing suits, they are proud to show their bodies. As if to say: "I am totally comfortable in this body, come and watch me swim!" I was also struck by the noticeable lack of tattoos.Apparently, most of these athletes do not wish to dress. They have nothing to hide or cover. Celebrating their bodies just the way they are, how could we be more honest?
