Idiopathic Anterior & Posterior Post OP Scoliosis Lung Problems?

OK I had spinal surgery on July 31.2008 and I had random moments in time to a time when the breathing was so difficult that I am eager to call 911 for a mask oxygen. I had an anterior and posterior surgery. They deflated my lungs and took 5 or 6 disks. Closed-I turned my back and put 2 rods and 23 screws in my back. My scoliosis was idiopathic and my spine was 72 degrees at the top of my back. it is 6 degrees now, but my spine has shifted my ribs weird. My right side is more flat through my body and my left is showing.I'm going to do something or nothing and it will come to me in a minute and I'm going to feel all that weight on my chest to my right and I'll take all those short quick breaths. I had this several times before and usually it happens before I get chest pains on the left side where my lung was deflated worsening and worse over a few weeks and then I start breaths short and fast, but I t will be feeling their weight on my chest. This time it got so bad that it felt as if they were 20 pounds on my chest, but I could not breathe and it hurts. Please help Google do not tell me !!!!!!!!! specific
I don't know if I can tell you anything specific either. You really had a BIG surgery. You don't mention your age or weight (which might be helpful to know). It might be something going on, or it might just be your body trying to adjust to its' new position. I'm sure that feeling that short of breath is very scarey for you. I simply suggest that you see your doctor. Don't wait until you're turning blue! Some simple tests might be helpful (chest x-ray, pulmonary studies, etc.).Last but not least, could you be having a panic attack?I hate to even mention because I do not want to "fluff you off" and suggest that it is all in your head ... but you've been through a recovery long and painful, and if it were me, I would be concerned about these issues, too. Your doctor is your best bet. I wish you the best.

to be honest after surgery!..i show my incisions so im just warning you! im really bloated because of all the air they pump you with during surgery!
