Food allergies = diarrhea??
Can you have diarrhea of an allergic reaction to food? I am allergic to latex and found on WebMD that there is a correlation in latex allergy and ingestion of bananas, kiwis, papayas and avacodos. when I have a reaction to latex, it itches and swells on the site. Could I get feedback from diarrhea avacodos? I eat fairly regularly and can not find the source of my chronic diarrhea.
Yes, and you can have anaphylaxis, gastrointestinal and respiratory problems caused by a systemic reaction to latex and foods that are cross-reactive.
Your body believes that these foods are made of latex, contain proteins similar to latex proteins, which is why you react - often with diahrrea or other serious symptoms.
I used to get only a rash at the site of a contact too. Then I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome because of diahrrea - when it was really due to latex allergy and eating food from the Cross-reactive.Mine got worse because I keep myself up - I am now totally disabled and have to wear a mask when I leave my home. Take this seriously allergic, learn everything you can to protect you.
You may have chronic diahrrea eating avacados and many other foods are cross-reactive. This can cause serious complications, life-threatening.
The main foods that people are affecting the banana AVACADO, kiwi, potatoes, and tomatoes. There are many more that you read. Some are hidden, like the kiwi used in soft drinks.

Do you know much about latex allergy? The thing I think I was more surprised, that's what my doctor did not tell me. I learned much in line with others live with this allergy. It is so new that Dr. are still discovering things that Boggle.
I learned that the latex in the air is something I had to work to avoid as far as being physically touched with a latex glove or balloon. Like being in locations where the balloons are used for decorating can make me sick. There is no cure, medications may be helpful once exposed, and the only treatment is to avoid all latex.
We with latex allergy also at times become overwhelmed emotionally with all we have to deal with. Gratefully there are support groups online to help understand and live with this allergy. They have taught me a lot
